Unfortunately it does have some negatives. This cream is rather rich and emollient and as such is not the best for oily, acne prone skin. I wish there was a lighter, gel version. It would also be better without the fragrant essential oils, as I do find these sensitising, so I personally don't use this daily. I recommend using the bearberry cream with other products for pigmentation, such as a good AHA, to see quicker results, and don't forget to wear SPF and a hat.07/07/2019, By LiezlThis is a cream where you would not notice the difference overnight, but it is a cream that you have to use constantly and will definitely show excellent results over time. I liked it so I ordered the larger size separately and I LOVE the glass bottle it comes with that has a pump. The pump dispenses exactly the right amount of product to cover your entire face. The cream itself has a delightful smell. It's very hydrating and absorbs well into the skin without making my oily skin even oilier. I can't yet speak for it's efficacy on pigmentation but I will post another review if/when I notice a difference. It can be used morning or night which is fab. No adverse reaction or breakouts or clogging of pores. I have been using the cream for approx. 1 month and noticed the fading of pimple scarring from my forehead and jawline, my make-up has lessened drastically and I feel more confident. It smells lovely, absorbs well, but just doesn give me results. I have used it for months with very little success. Frustrated, I went back to my homeopathic Thuja lotion, which made a noticeable difference within 3 days on my face and around the eyes and my hands. Significant fading can be seen. Thuja lotion is a treatment and should not be used continuously, but with the rapid results one doesn need to. After using bearberry for just 3 weeks I noticed that the marks have definitely become lighter and one completely disappeared. I do understand that this is not an overnight thing - sun damage is deep and it takes years before it pops up to the surface so I do not expect miracles but this cream has already made such a difference. The bigger marks have already started itching - a sure sign that it is working! Oh and by the way, I scratched, no gouged my chin by accident, it was very deep. Anyhow, I continued to apply the bearberry all over my face, including the open scratch and I could literally see the wound close up! It took three days and it had closed and healed completely! This is amazing, when one gets older, wounds take long to heal and there is generally a mark left behind. Bearberry not only healed the wound within 3 days, it left no scarring whatsoever!
