The scent lacks any vanilla tones and is a little stale, there is a lot of work involved in getting the product to the stage where it is usable, as it's hard and stiff and you have to constantly add water and stir to get it to soften everyday, and the scrub is quite fine so you don't get that "clean" feeling that you expect from a scrub. This product is coarse sugar in a honey-oil base. The smell, which is light vanilla with honey, is not too strong and is very pleasant.
The texture of this scrub is perfect. I find some scrubs disintegrate too quickly in your hands, or are actually too rough (salt scrubs often feel very sharp/prickly), or leave an oily residue. This scrub has the texture of slightly coarse sugar, which is perfect for exfoliating, but also feels lovely when you massage it over your skin.
While the scrub part does rinse off, it does leave your skin feeling moisturised and slightly silky. So I wouldn recommend it for anyone wanting something totally without residue. But its not oily or greasy.
