Apparently the use of Simvastatin (of which I'm hoping to get off eventually) breaks down the natural Co-Enzyme Q10, so I'm using it to counteract this. So there're no outwards changes that I'm aware of, but I worry less about using the prescribed Simvastatin.

What a pity it is not in the 8x more bio-available form, i.e. Ubiquinol. The body must work hard to convert the ubiquinone into a usable form.

I've been using it i conjunction with vitamin c along with some other vitamins and have seen a great improvement in dealing with peridontis. No need for chemical laden mouthwashes and anti inflammatory tablets.
