My grays were completely covered and despite the fact that it was the first time I've ever coloured my hair at home (usually i do it in a salon so I have zero experience at doing it myself), the colour came up so even. My hair was quite dry after rinsing off the dye, but after applying the conditioner supplied in the box it regained softness. I'm so impressed with this amazing product. It will save me thousands of rands in salon treatments. Chestnut is a little misleading as I would say this was more of a dark brown. I expected Chestnut to be a slightly more medium red brown shade - although based on the image on the box the didnt appear to be the case. I was happy with the result, it covered my minimal grey very well. The product was fairly easy to apply - although i would recommend buying your own squeezy plastic bottle with a funnel lid for easy application as you would normally find in box dyes. Applying from a bowl is a little more challenging. I must say my hair felt extremely dry after rinsing the product off but after washing and adding the conditioner it was ok.
