Also now have dandruff, which I didn't have with my organic liquid shampoo. I have been trying to go shampoo-free for a few months and this has given me the best results. I can already extend my wash by an extra day and hope to extend it more and more with time. The bar lathers up plenty enough for my below shoulder-length hair. Sometimes I do need to repeat if it's extra dirty/sweaty. It does have a waxy (kind of squeeky) feel immediately after rinsing, but this is gone once dry. Sometimes I use the apple cider vinegar rinse but not always. Leaves my hair clean and soft and feeling moisturized (no need for conditioner but I use some argan oil on the ends every now and then). I expect it will last a long time, so it's really good value! My hair are a middle length, just passed the shoulders.
Despite the shower, rinsing in the sink, shower again, do layers by layers and finally rinsing with the mixture water+vinegar I cannot get clear hair without shampoo on. I have to rinse them at least 5 times and they stay dirty and sticky. Maybe is there a specific way to rinse it that I do not know about? I recommend using this in conjunction with either the vinegar rinse, as is recommended in the product description, or a good natural conditioner. It can leave your hair feeling dried out if you use it alone. I just love this! The apple cider rinse is definitely recommended though for best results, don't skip the rinse ;) . My hair has never felt and looked as good as it does since I started using this and the the rinse. Being in plastic free packaging, vegan AND cruelty free makes it even better.
