I mean, this is a pretty sizable jar, so it's great for storing things that you would typically buy larger portions of, like rice or whatever.

Ive used mine to brew my kombucha, works very well. Lids come in handy once flavours are added. In truth this is never longer than a week and then Im back to fermenting.
