My sister in law is a loyal and frequent client of Faithful to Nature and receives samples time and again. She usually let's me test it, because I am open to trying new products.
I tried the dry shampoo for light hair which worked like a bomb. My hair looked cleaner longer than what it usually does after a good wash and blow dry. However, I noticed that after 3 wash cycles after using the dry shampoo, there were patches of a yellow dandruff'like residue. After the third wash it went away, and again I used the dry shampoo to see if it was the product and the residue returned.
I used the product as indicated and used less during my last application but the same issue arised.
I'm not sure if the information provided is useful but I thought I'd spread my experience.24/02/2019, By RianaI received it as a sample, and knew that (since I have dark brown hair) the 'blonde' version would be a problem, but tried it out anyway, not taking the lightening effect into account. I don't think I used too much, but while working it into my scalp, I found that my blouse ended up being scattered with the golden granules. My hair did have new volume, but it felt like straw, and my scalp boasted a yellow tinge. Product has a very weird smell that I just couldn't get used to. It worked as well as any regular dry shampoo, but the turmeric in it turned parts of my scalp yellow!! But the packaging is ridiculous!! Powder in a screw top wide mouth tub results in massive wastage as it spills every time and is difficult to apply without getting powder all over the bathroom! This should come in a shake bottle as powders generally do. Unless the packaging changes I wouldn't buy this again.07/05/2018, By KarienI wasn't too sure what to expect from this product having little faith in dry shampoos...however, I was pleasantly surprised! It works really well on fine hair and I love the smell. It is a tad difficult to apply, so I suggest investing in an extra blusher type brush for this powder specifically, but then you'll be sorted. I have blonde hair and I found the colour of the powder worked just fine. It made my hair feel and look fresh all day - great product!06/04/2018, By LizWorks well! The powder is rather yellow but blends well when worked in. Smells quite herbal but not too overpowering.
