It has a very slight soapy taste, but there is no aftertaste. It would have been nice with more peppermint flavour, but at the end of the day this is to clean your teeth and not a party in your mouth. Do some research on why to use tooth soap rather than glycerin based toothpaste. Absolutely love this product!
