The slightly dangly, simple yet elegant earrings of Yvonne de Wit are made by a self developed process of naturally bonding South African soil with plant material into solid frost and heat resistant shapes. They might look like amber, but are in fact soil that has been treated and transformed into what could be mistaken for a gem stone. Dangling delicately from sterling silver that has been interestingly shaped, with the designer drawing inspiration for these from the famed 13th century scientist Fibonacci’s work. Made as an ode to Mother Earth.
