Even though the handle is sanded smooth, I found it unbearable to use. It is so dry and scratchy on the inside of my cheeks, especially since I use a natural toothpaste that doesn't foam at all. Maybe with a regular toothpaste it wouldn't be so bad. Love that you have the option of getting a soft or medium bristle. However after buying both, the soft isn't as soft as I would have thought. I would say the soft is medium and the medium is hard to be honest. The head of the toothbrush could do with some sort of eco-friendly resin as the feel of dry wood is not the best. You do get used to it after a while and is better when the wood is soaked. Its a preference but I do see that some of the other reviewers have the same preference. Might just make your brand stand out from the other bamboo toothbrushes on the market too! I really wanted an eco toothbrush.. but.. the soft bristle brush is still super hard, its not a soft toothbrush at all..the hard toothbrush then must be the same as a nailbrush.. my dentist told me that we are brushing our gums away with all these hard toothbrushes.. and gums cant grow back.. secondly when the wood gets wet it has a weird mouth feel to it..I think a little coating on the wood wouldn't hurt.. thirdly I bought two brushes for my husband and I.. but they look exactly the same... who's brush is who's because they are all the same colour.. and design? not that I have the need for a pink toothbrush.. but just a small indicator to know which one is which one..(maybe a small picture of a Panda Pappa or a bamboo twig..?) I had to mark it myself.. I think the product developers should have a sit down with a dentist.. or compare the product with other products.. and even my son prefers the wooden one above his spider-man brush - and that must say a lot,
