1) Ashwagandha is a natural remedy - it's most likely going to take some time for you to really see/feel the effects so stick with it for a few months before declaring whether or not it works (unless you have immediate adverse reactions to it, of course).
2) Do your own research about this ancient herb and consult with a medical professional if you're unsure about it, especially if you have any medical conditions. You should educate yourself on what you're putting into your body and know exactly what it does, what it's used for, how it's used, the possible side effects, and any contraindications.
With that being said, I've been taking this for a couple of months and haven't felt any drastic changes. However, I have noticed reduced anxiety in some stressful situations that, in the past, might have caused me to experience much higher levels of anxiety. A friend with chronic back pain has also been taking this for about 2 months and has noticed a slight reduction in the amount of pain meds he usually takes.
