Witll be toning with blue coloring and purple shampoo to stop the orange tone although I have had some compliments on the color. I have dark brown hair, so the colour came out light copper/strawberry blond colour but blended in very well with my highlights, actually like the colour a lot. It is a very natural look, could get it lighter with gentian violet added to my shampoo and conditioner. I'm sure with the next dye it will be lighter, very excited!!09/03/2016, By NickyFirstly, going platinum is a long process if you are not already blonde. Secondly, if you are looking for an ash blonde color, go for the 10C (yes 10C), Swedish blonde. (You will see that it is often sold out...) Herbatint is a range of gentle dyes, so with the blondes you only ever go about 2 shades lighter. I added strong hydrogen peroxide (30 vol) which sort of defeats the purpose somewhat, and I still had orange-yellow hair after two applications to my dark blonde/light brown. To counteract this you could try adding in some of the violet hair colour (at http://www.faithful-to-nature.co.za/Herbatint-Hair-Colours-Flash-Fashion-Violet-p-1576.html). What I do is add blue food colouring to my biotin shampoo and gentian violet to my chamomile conditioner. But like I said, avoid expecting immediate results. Add strong chamomile tea rinses, argan oil, jojoba oil, and coconut oil masks to your hair care routine.21/12/2015, By SonjaThe result was a copper orange still after 3 applications the copper look only went a little lighter. My natural hair colour was dark blond (not dyed) with blond highlights. The highlights look great but the rest will need a trip to the hairdresser. Lucky my hair is short.
