I was afraid that it would be to hard and abrasive to use in the kitchen, but it softens with hot water and works like a charm. I tore one side open and had the seeds exposed, hit and banged the loofah but they did not budge, eventually started cutting them out/removing with scissor. Over 60 seeds in total and 40 mins later I could use my loofah,it is a firm scrub and cleanses well...not sure if it is worth the effort of de-seeding though.07/07/2019, By BarbaraReally love it. Great product28/05/2019, By RayGood value for money. This natural loofah is very big, so I cut it in two. It's quite hard, and therefore I wouldn't use it on all parts of my body. It is good for scrubbing feet, though. While the loofah is great and I enjoyed using it, I’m new to loofahs and wasn’t expecting the seeds. So I wish it came with instructions. Or instructions in the description. It’s only now after doing some research that I realized that you’re meant to shake all the seeds out before use - I didn’t read all the reviews here, was happy enough with the rating to give it a try. The majority of the seeds have now sprouted so I won’t be able to use the loofah for much longer (am still trying to pick out the sprouted seeds!)28/04/2019, By SindyAbsolutely loving this loofah. The only downside is trying to take out the seeds. I had to almost unwrap the entire loofah just to get some of the seeds out. Besides that I love how it leaves the skin soft and pampered.

It works well, just have to apply the soap directly to the loofah for it to foam. Lizanne - the black stuff in the middle are seeds.
