This replacement filter goes with the Deluxe Showerwise Shower Filtration System. Showerwise’s patented KDF-55 and Chlorgon filter material performs best in warm or hot water, unlike ordinary carbon filters that are effective in cold only. It also contains 50% more material for a longer, more effective lifetime than most filters, so you’ll only need to think about replacing your filter after about 12-18 months. It removes 95% of the chlorine from your shower water, while also reducing heavy metals, harsh chemicals and bacteria. Once a year or so, you will need to keep changing this filter. However it does what it should and the difference is instantly noticeable
