The scent is calming and lasts longer than expected. All the pieces are beautiful and I think it makes a gorgeous gift. I found the smell a bit overwhelming when I opened it up but my gran says its just strong enough with the whole piece out in the open. The metal box had a ding in it which was unfortunate and is why, as the gifter, Ive taken off a star. Also, I think it would be helpful if they gave a description of the different scents available, I had trouble choosing as you never know what someone will like as far as scents go.05/09/2016, By HELEENThis is beautiful and love that it comes in a metal box! Bought one as a gift for a friend and did not even have to wrap it.
