After washing the food with the fruit and vegetable wash, I usually rinse it with water to remove any residual product. The only negative is that I find I have to rinse the fruit and veg really well to get the smell and reisdue of this product off - even though I know this is a natural product, I don't want to taste or smell it on the food I am eating.20/03/2011, By KellyThis is one of my favorite Earthsap products. I do agree with the above reviewer about the fragrance being a little off-putting. If you don't thoroughly wash this product off your fruits and veggies they will have a slightly citrus flavor which is unpleasant. This product lasts me a long time and works very well. The tip is to make sure you see clear water when you wash this product off. If you still see bubbles you'll have the citrus taste.
