I buy it whenever I'm lucky enough that it's still in stock at month end. My gran uses it on her arthritic hands, my mom on shingles and as a night moisturiser, a colleague used it on her broken ankle (had to purchase more for her after that, it helped her so much) and it's been used on sore muscles, spots, rashy dogs, and every general eina you can think of. I use it on bruises and bites. My mum had a fall recently which resulted in a black eye it was terrible I applied comfrey and the next day the swelling was down. On the 3rd days the bruises around the eye that was the colour of a rainbow had disapperead. So this btl with essential oils I bought because of my mums liking to the product and the lavender that is in it. She uses it daily as a moisturiser because of the lavender and is a firm believer of comfrey. I tried putting antihistamine creams and other insect-bite ointments on, but he still scratches them open in his sleep and they then take weeks to heal. However, having used Greenaways one night, I was amazed to find that not only did he not scratch any bites open, all of them were almost completely gone!
I have used this ointment for other skin irritations with equal success. There is one disappointment, however, that if a bite has been scratched open already, the ointment doesn work as amazingly well as if you put it on unbroken skin.31/10/2016, By AngeliqueThis balm is great for healing acne and preventing moisture loss while you sleep! Usually these things takes ages to finally disappear on me, but I used this ointment and they had vanished by the next day.
