I wanted to get rid of mites, fleas, ticks and any other critters that were potentially making my dog itch. So I covered the bottom of his dog house with a thick layer of this powder, and let him lie in it. BIG MISTAKE! I think whatever was in the dog house tried to escape from the powder by climbing onto my dog, who soon was RIDDLED with small lumps (bites?) mainly on his back, neck and flanks. I don't believe that the powder caused this, as I have since repeatedly rubbed the powder into his coat without any ill effect, and without him getting ticks when we've been in the bush. So if you apply this powder to a pet bed or den, don't let your pet lie there while the powder is taking effect!
I would give this product a 5/5 if it came in a non-plastic container.
Lastly... for peace of mind... could the supplier and FtN please kindly disclose how and where the rock is obtained/extracted?09/12/2018, By LarissaI use this in the my cats' litter boxes - it absorbs moisture in the box and eliminates the smell.
