Our Maltese has long and unruly hair. This shampoo not only cleans well but rinses very easily. It also leaves the fur soft and easy to comb. It has a fresh but neutral smell and not the 'washed dog' smell. I used the Vondi's Buchu Moisturising Oil with it, since his skin is extra dry in the winter months. It hardly foamed, but don't let that fool you! Highly recommended.
