- The pointed leaves of this plant can differ from yellow-green to red
- Like all other types of Tillandsia, the Melanocrater descends from the Bromeliad plant family
- The Tillandsia Melanocrater is native to Central America and Mexico
- This species grows a flower from the heart of the plant, which can become a beautiful red, pink or purplish colour
- They will give you wonderful blooms 2 to 3 times per year

- Microgarden can be placed on a counter, desk or mantelpiece, or mounted to the wall
- Microgardens require fresh air circulation and should be misted with water occasionally
