Try a vegan alternative to everyone’s favourite meaty South African snack! SharLeBel mushroom biltong is made with gourmet shiitake mushrooms, carefully cultivated without any pesticides. These tasty mushrooms are dehydrated and dusted with just the right mix of biltong spices, then rehydrated to give them a pleasant, “meaty” texture. SharLeBel mushrooms are grown at a farm on the Cape’s scenic Garden Route. These fabulous fungi are rich in nutrients and oh so tasty.

The packet had a very potent smell, and the mushrooms tasted like dried fruit. Did not have the "biltong" experience with this unfortunately.
