Is it organic and "alive"?

I would love to know if these cacao beans would sprout, as that would be the test of whether they are "alive" and therefore organic and not heated (which also destroys most of the nutrition) of irradiated as an import to South Africa.

Straight out of the box, these weren't my favourite, even when disguised in a date!
I prefer the cacao powder used in a smoothly for my chocolate fix.

I loved playing around with these badboys. They're great as is, for a complex, chocolaty snack or addition to smoothies.

I also roasted and ground some to make my own chocolate - so yummy and interesting to work with.

These beans are yummy!! I snack on them during the morning, they give me a little buzz and seem to improve my concentration.
