Grown and made in Stellenbosch, Cape Town on the Chaloner family farm, this jam contains the best ingredients and a high fruit content you would expect with a homemade jam. The high fruit content and the method of preparation also conserves the bountiful offering of nutrients in the fruit, making this berry jam full of fibre, vitamins C, E and K, as well as antioxidants and essential minerals. Packing a mighty rich berry punch, this Chaloner preserve has beautiful lavender infusion, and is a delectable morsel served on scones, a cheeky Victoria sponge, or simply on toast.

I didn't like it

I found the lavender too overpowering and causing a sharp, astringent flavour. The jam also had a slightly burnt / overcooked taste about it. It wasn't completely horrible, but I didn't enjoy it. I'm gonna stick with St. Dalfour.
