This is a traditional French olive paste with the beloved homemade Chaloner taste that has only improved over the last 20 years, made from the finest pickings of the carefully grown and organically fertilised Chaloner family farm. The Chaloner version of this piquant specialty from Provence, France, is an indulgent heart healthy treat to add as a topping to pastas or even pizzas, or simply enjoyed spread on bread or crackers and is especially good with cheeses. Enjoy the succulent classic flavours of green olives and capers with almonds, anchovies and a pinch of ginger.

I bought this for my husband. He quite likes it. I did taste it and it definitely has an acquired taste. If you don't like capers don't buy it as the capers outweigh the olive taste.

I was quite excited to receive my Chaloner order but must admit was very disappointed with the taste of this product. I think it had something to do with the anchovies that was in it. Will not order this again.
